A Dental Creations' staple and an essential in dental restoration.

Zirconia dental restorations are becoming popular due to their durability and natural-looking appearance. Patients demand durable and aesthetically pleasing restorations for dental crowns and bridges, which can be achieved with zirconia restorations.

These restorations have the strength to withstand daily life’s biting and chewing pressures while closely mimicking the natural appearance of teeth, enhancing the overall appearance of the smile.

Therefore, zirconia restorations are the preferred choice for people seeking dental restorations that deliver the perfect combination of functionality and beauty.

WHY CHOOSE ZIRCONIA?

CAD/CAM

Zirconia restorations can be designed using computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, which can provide highly precise and accurate results.

Durable

Zirconia is a strong and durable material that can withstand high chewing forces, making it an excellent choice for dental restorations in areas of the mouth that experience heavy wear and tear.

Bio-Compatible

Zirconia is biocompatible, meaning it is highly unlikely to cause allergic reactions or other negative side effects in patients.

Metal Free

Zirconia is a metal free product, which can often be preferred by patients concerned about the use of metal in dental restorations.

Natural aesthetic

Zirconia has a natural-looking appearance that closely resembles the color and translucency of natural teeth, making it a great option for restorations that require aesthetics as well as functionality.

ZIRCONIA TYPES

Layered // Mono

Layered zirconia consists of a zirconia core, covered with porcelain. The zirconia core provides the strength and durability necessary to withstand the forces of biting and chewing, while the porcelain layer provides a natural-looking appearance that matches the colour and translucency of natural teeth.

Monolithic zirconia is made from zirconia without a porcelain layer. Monolithic zirconia has the strength to withstand high bite forces. As monolithic zirconia contains no porcelain, they do not provide the same level of translucency and customisation as a layered zirconia.

Monolithic zirconia is ideal for posterior teeth.
